We are super excited to be back in 2025 after taking a sabbatical year to let our site heal and make upgrades to all our operations and projects.

2025’s Something Different Collaboration Gatherings ceremonies and celebrations will focus on revamping and rebooting as we regain momentum. As we hype the tribes and engage with our colossal creative community in preparation for the 2025 Collaboration Gathering, we will activate the incredible power of altruistic energy within our community. The fully immersive environment and musical adventure that we create for you will reactivate your creativity and your sense of community and belonging, a surge in passion for the epic things we create together will be reignited.

With the health of our community and the well-being of every person within it, at the heart of everything we do. We will activate a chain reaction of altruistic actions. This chain of actions will raise everyone’s feel-good energy frequencies. Those feel good frequencies will radiate outwards like a Mexican wave of positivity and creativity energy. Carried forward and amplified by each person that gives to it. Engulfing our community in a cloud of sparkly and abundant altruistic energy.

Stage Takeovers 2025

Our team are involved in events and festivals throughout the year across the UK and some internationally. Once a year we bring a bunch of our favourite UK based underground events and labels together to deliver Something Different Collaboration gathering, an awesome adventure delving deep into the full spectrum of UK based underground music.

Anthropos – Champions of chill and ambassadors of ambient and down tempo music, Anthropos are a community and festival that share our values. Their community shares its resources with its founders and members and they have a strong interest in human impact on the environment. They will be hosting a stage takeover on the Secret Element stage at Something Different Collaboration Gathering 2025. .

Antimatter Audio – A drum and bass outfit putting on indoor and outdoor events in the west midlands Uk. A Dj and event production team that know how to party. Antimatter Audio will host a stage takeover on the Flux’d stage at Something Different Collaboration Gathering 2025

AudioAddictz – A full power family run event from Manchester, AudioAddictz are advocates for a diverse spectrum of dance music with a strong Psytrance following. They have a close community and network at the northern end of the UK. At Something Different 2025 they will host a stage takeover on the Hive stage.

Bangers & Mash – A long running event based in Cheltenham these guys host hard dance events with techno, hard house and hard trance played by top Dj’s from around the UK. They will host a stage takeover on the Flux’d stage at Something Different Collaboration Gathering 2025.

Electric Ballroom Promotions – These guys have put on some legendary NYE events at OTG. Known for multi genre productions and high-grade sound. They have a taste for the best of electronic music and live bands with a particular sweet tooth for Electro breaks and Electro swing, they bring elements of performance arts into their productions. They will host a stage takeover on the Essentia Stage at the Something Different Collaboration Gathering 2025.

Extra Crispy – Previously known as Swamp Sessions this event production crew deliver Dark progressive nights in Goa and the UK. Pushing and developing the Dark prog and Psyteck scene in the UK. Run by advocates of the Zenon Record Label these guys will deliver a chunky stage takeover on the Secret Element Stage at Something Different Collaboration Gathering 2025.

Fluid Frequencies – Professionals of the pop-up outdoor party. These guys put on and collab’ on events across the south of the UK. They have an outdoor free party vibe but maintain high-grade production values. They deliver carefully selected lineups that provide a journey through the Psy spectrum with an emphasis on night time forest vibes. They will host a stage takeover on The Hive Stage at Something Different Collaboration Gatherings 2025.

FullCircle – A beautiful micro festival based on a stunning healing retreat centre in Devon. The Fullcircle Festival focuses on well-being and healing while delivering a top class downtempo and ambient music lineup. They will join us at Something Different Collaboration Gathering 2025 hosting a stage takeover on the Secret Element Stage.

Hitechnicians – Hosting a stage at Boomtown festival for almost a decade and hosting rooms at the incredible Bristol based Tribe Of Frog Parties. Hitechnicians are specialists in High BPM psychedelic music. They will host a takeover on the Hive Stage at Something Different 2025.

Mercurial Sounds – Fans of the more dubby side of Drum and Bass, Mercurial sounds was set up to help emerging artists breakthrough in an ever-competitive industry. They will host a stage takeover on the Flux’d Stage at Something Different Collaboration Gatherings 2025.

PsyPiratz – From the deep nooks of the London underground Psy party scene you will find this event crew branching outwards helping at other events and festivals and networking across the scene. They will host a stage takeover on the Hive Stage at Something Different 2025

Something Different & OTG presents – A collaboration effort presenting Live bands and acts. Out to Grass has created an awesome platform for live acts to perform, with the help of the Something Different crew they host the live music stage takeover at the collaboration gathering 2025 on the Essentia stage.

Shanti Planti – Shanti Planti is an international auditory collective of experimental midtempo bass music producers and DJs. Releasing cutting edge midtempo bass music and performing at events internationally this outfit is at the frontline of what they do. They will host a stage takeover on the Secret Element stage at Something Different Collaboration gathering 2025.

TRST-  Previously know as Sub-Culture, TRST are a collective of house and techno producers and Dj’s that host club events in Cardiff, Bristol and Lincoln. The crew will join us to deliver a takeover on the Flux’d stage at Something Different 2025.

Sweetboy Sound – Sweetboy Sound is a multi-genre promotion and sound system based around Herefordshire. Made up of multiple versatile dj’s, Sweetboy Sound has hosted takeovers at multiple festivals as well as hosting an array of successful events in the Herefordshire and Bristol regions of the UK. You can expect to hear hiphop, garage, dub, 140 Dnb and breaks for their stage takeover at Something Different Collaboration Gathering 2025.

Toadstool – Gloucester based full on psy party event team who have been delivering psy nights at various venues throughout their long running history. The Toadstool events have presented a vast array of Dj’s and producers from the psy scene over the years. They will be hosting a stage takeover on the Essentia Stage at Something Different 2025.

Tribalsphere – A psychedelic event production, Dj and producer label from Birmingham Tribalsphere host indoor and outdoor events. They provide a platform to support and promote their resident DJs through their webpage and online community. They will host a stage takeover at Something different 2025 on the Essentia Stage.

Woodog Recordings – Uk based international psytrance record label Woodog Recordings are dedicated to delivering fresh hard edged psytrance with good vibes. With Dj’s and producers on the label performing at festival and events around the world and new cutting-edge releases on the label all the time, Woodog Records is ever evolving. They will deliver a stage takeover on the Hive Stage at Something Different Collaboration Gathering 2025.

Blue badge holders please drop us a message if you need anything specific from us, we will do our best to provide suitable access to all stage arenas and facilities.

We have a “be cool rule” here at Out To grass. Respect one another, the land, the crew, our animals, our neighbours and support our eco efforts. Be kind and look out for each other while you are here, if you see something, say something to a crew member so it can be dealt with. Help us create safe spaces for everyone to enjoy.

We have an awesome licensed bar with an amazing selection of drinks supplied by Wye Valley Brewery. We do not charge festival prices at our bar. The bar profits go directly into funding the production of the event and upgrading infrastructure on site. We don’t mind you bringing a bit of booze to enjoy in the campsite but we ask you please don’t bring your own alcohol into the licensed stage arenas. Please support the bar.

We are a dog friendly event and site but dog’s do require registration and there is a dog deposit if you want to bring your furry friends with you. There is a specific dog camping area because not everyone is dog friendly. Please respect our pooch policies we have our own pack on site and livestock in the surrounding fields. You must be 18 or over to buy a ticket. Children under the age of 4 can attend with a responsible adult. Children and responsible adult will need to register contact details and information at the gate when they arrive to site. Please see our Term & Conditions for more info’

Rubbish & Recycling – We have a no glass on site rule, please decanter liquids into plastic containers. There will be daily collections of rubbish from the recycling points. We have limited recycling capabilities. Please take any single use plastics, electronics, batteries and gas bottles home with you to dispose of through the correct channels.
